Privacy Policy

Stocktrail is currently in early access: the product is being built, and this site exists to collect interest. That keeps our data practices short and easy to describe.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we store your email address, which part of the page you signed up from, and the time you signed up. That's the only personal information this site collects. We use standard server logs (IP address, user agent) transiently for abuse prevention and rate limiting.

How we use it

We use your email to tell you when early access opens, and occasionally to ask questions that shape what we build. No marketing blasts, and no selling or renting your address to anyone.

Cookies and analytics

With your consent (the banner you see on your first visit), we use Google Analytics to understand how people use this site and Google Adsto measure whether our advertising works, for example whether a visit from an ad led to a waitlist signup. If you decline, those tags stay off: no analytics or advertising cookies are set. You can change your mind by clearing this site's cookies, which brings the banner back.

We also set two small cookies of our own: one that remembers your consent choice, and a short-lived one that confirms a real signup so we can show you the welcome page. Neither tracks you across other sites.

Where it lives

Waitlist entries are stored with Supabase (hosted in the EU) and the site is served by Vercel. Both act as processors on our behalf.

Changes

If the product launches, this policy will grow to cover the actual application. We'll note material changes on this page.
